Bill Liu is a global executive, marketer, educator, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.
With a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Bill worked as an R&D scientist for 10 years. After his MBA from Kellogg, Bill worked for PwC before co-founding NaviAsia. Currently, Bill is the President of NaviAsia Advisors, helping companies with their China strategies, financial management, and M&A. Bill earned the Top China Consultant honor by Crain’s Chicago Business. He has helped clients via strategy formulation, cost control, sales, and marketing. His clients' companies range in annual sales from $3B to under $100M.
In addition to his own company, Bill is the founding senior advisor of Western Suburban Angel. Bill also shares his marketing experiences with young entrepreneurs via teaching Marketing at Sofia University's MBA program. Bill is the North America Executive Director of Hurun Report, the authority on China's wealth.

Jane Luo brings more than 25 years of software engineering experience to the design of reliable AI-enabled applications. Her background includes mission-critical financial platforms, distributed systems, enterprise integration, and hands-on Java and Python development. Her current AI architecture work includes prototypes for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool-using agents, MCP integration, and LLM evaluation. She focuses on grounding AI responses in trusted data, keeping business rules and calculations separate from model-generated outputs, and designing guardrails and human oversight. Jane holds a master's degree in Computer Engineering and a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. Her early graduate research involved patient EMG data and neural networks, providing a foundation for her interest in healthcare applications of AI.

Software and Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience building enterprise applications, automation platforms, API integrations, data pipelines, and scalable engineering solutions. Strong development background in Python, Java, TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, ETL, databases, and CI/CD, with hands-on experience designing backend automation services, integrating enterprise systems, processing complex datasets, and developing reliable software solutions from architecture through production.
